The Cadet Section at Saltash Sailing Club meets Friday
Evenings Training to RYA standards ashore and afloat.
Currently approximately 80 cadet members with an average
attendance of 36 to 40 each evening.
Aims:
- To allow all cadet members to achieve RYA level 3
- To ensure that all members are able to take part in race
training
- To provide a safe meeting place for cadet member
With about active 80 cadet members it is a fantastic place
to start sailing or to hone those skills. Cadets can be
assured of plenty of fun and all in the safe and expert
hands of experienced and RYA qualified instructors.

Cadet members have organised themselves with a committee,
with Captain and Secretary to ensure feedback to officers,
and to ensure the sailing and winter programme includes fun
events.
Summer programme covers RYA requirements, barbecues, passage
cruises, race training and demonstration events.
Without any doubt - this is the very best sailing club for
Cadets in the area!
