The Social Committee’s role is to organise a Social Programme for members and for some events, friends and family are also welcome.  The Programme starts after the Autumn Sailing Forum, usually mid-September, with regular Thursday evening talks linked or loosely linked to sailing, boating, the sea, the River Tamar, the environment and other aspects of relevant interest to our membership.

We are very fortunate to have John and Tina as our house caterers throughout the year and as well as their amazing Sunday lunches and truly scrumptious food for our Supper and Dinner events they  provide hearty meals after racing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Whilst this is primarily for our members, family and friends are welcome to accompany them by signing the Club’s Visitors Register (terms and conditions apply).

Having recently completed the Autumn Programme we are now enjoying the Winter Programme which continues through to the end of March and concludes with the annual 'Fitting Out Supper' on the 21st March and the Spring Sailing Forum on the 26th March.  Both events are open to all members .

The committee will now be concentrating on Autumn 2020 Programme, if you or someone you know would be willing to offer a talk please contact Catherine our club administrator.

The Club's website ‘Events Calendar’ will also keep you informed of any remaining social events and forthcoming sailing related fixtures already planned for the summer months.

The Club's 'Suggestion Box' situated by the Club's signing in book is proving to be an excellent way to communicate with the various committees of the Club.   The Social Committee would like to take this opportunity to promote this and welcomes any suggestions or feedback.
