Jo Bower

Jo started sailing in 2001 and completed her first Caribbean circuit and transatlantic in 2003.

Jo like's ocean sailing rather than ‘racing round the cans’.

She has completed 5 trips across the Atlantic and numerous cruises to the Azores.

Her favourite cruising grounds are the Eastern Mediterranean and the windward islands but Scotland is beautiful too.

So far she has clocked up 31,000 ocean miles; not counting the local stuff.

Jo raced with the RNSA single handlers for 8 years and once won the Robin Lloyd Williams Trophy!Jo has also owned 3 yachts.

Temptress a YCA 29 which she sailed to the UK from Istanbul.

Her previous boat was Mojo - a Moody 346 - and sihe is currently working on a project boat Fluito, a Jeanneau Fantasia.
